A Novel

series: Misty Willow

About

"The story of Dani and Brett captured me from the very first page and held me fast all the way through to the last. When Love Arrives is an engaging romance, but even more, it's a testament to the way God sometimes turns our best plans upside down in order to give us something better."--Ann Tatlock, award-winning novelist and children's book author

Dani had planned to spy on Brett--so how did she end up on a date with him?
Dani Prescott can't believe the lie Brett Somers is trying to sell to the media. During an interview about the plane crash that killed his parents, he blamed Dani's mother. But the crash killed her as well. Vowing to restore her mother's reputation, Dani has been following Brett and taking photos, hoping to find something she can use to discredit him. But when she catches his eye instead, she quickly finds herself agreeing to a date. Brett knows this mystery girl is hiding something--but he's got his own secrets to keep. What will happen when he discovers who she really is?

Reviews

Praise for Where She Belongs"This absorbing novel does more than just weave a story of romance; it creates an atmosphere of coming home. The town and its people feel like long-lost friends, and readers cannot help but invest emotionally in the plot's outcome. An added element of historical mystery swirls through the pages, alongside the more modern tensions also in play, and brings extra dimension to an already compelling story."--RT Book Reviews"Alexander deftly spins an emotionally charged contemporary romance with intriguing twists and turns. Masterful storytelling."--CBA Retailers + Resources"Alexander launches a promising trilogy that emphasizes the importance of home and the sense of belonging. An overarching theme of forgiveness for past sins runs throughout the novel. Friendship, romance, and a bit of family intrigue make this book impossible to put down."--Library Journal Pick of the Month

My review;

" When Love Arrives" is the kind of story that when you start to read it you have to keep reading until you get to the end and find out what happens to the characters. Brett Somers has  had both of his parents die in a plane crash. Dani Prescott is very upset to find out that he is putting the blame on her mother. The story tells of two hearts that are meant to be together even though they had horrible childhoods that were intertwined. Will they be able to forgive each other when their secret is finally out? Will they ever get on with the life that they were meant to have? I give this book a 5/5. I was given this book by Revell Publishing and all opinions are mine.
