The Balborite Curse is another book in the fantastic series called The Dragon Stones Saga. In this book we are learning about the dwarf kingdom trying to survive while they are fighting their own in a civil war. The members of the clans are fighting after a thousand years of working together.
They really do not understand that while they are fighting each other they are allowing the entire dwarf kingdom to be very easy to attack at any time. The dragon rider, Tallin Arai, finds out that a group wants him gone and they have put a price on finding him. He starts on a quest to get rid of who he believes are the enemy, the Balborites.
These Balborites are a group of cult members who teach others how to kill other people. The only thing that Tallin Aria is to find them and then stop them before the dwarves are able to ruin themselves. When he decides that he is the only one that can save all of them he leaves his now home in the desert and goes out to search for these members before they can ruin all that his clan love.
My Review;
Even though this was the Fourth book in this series I was quickly able to understand the characters and what the story was all about. The author explains the characters very well so that you are able to understand their movements and the reasons for their decisions. The book is fast moving and very interesting. I was surprised by some of the events that take place. I will be looking out for book five, the next in the series that will come out in 2014 called The Rise of the Blood Masters. I give this book a 5/5 because while I read the rest in this series I probably will reread some parts of the book.
I was given this book for the purpose of a review and all opinions are my own.
