Synopsis

A Talent for Murder is a cozy, southern mystery filled with humor and colorful characters, with a touch of romance thrown in for added fun.
When Kate Spencer learns her aunt’s fiancé is two-timing her with an old rival, she has no choice but to pass along the information to her mother. They are as shocked as the rest of the town when the rival turns up dead and the two-timing fiancé disappears.
Making matters worse, the lead investigator happens to be Kate’s old boyfriend. If her aunt has any hope of being cleared, the trio must conduct their own investigation. Even if they have to alienate a few friends and tell a few lies to discover the truth.

My review;

"A Talent For Murder" by Teresa A. LaRue is A Flower Patch Mystery  novel.  Kate Spencer has just told her mother that her aunt's fiancé is not what he seems. He has been seeing an another person and deceiving her.   Her mother cannot wait to tell  her sister what has been going on. Then something horrible happens the fiancé vanishes and they find the other person dead. It gets even more unbelievable when her aunt was supposedly at the murder scene. It just keep getting better and better when the person trying to solve the murder is Kate's old boyfriend. Kate's aunt is going to be arrested any minute. She is the main suspect and it is not looking good. What are they going to do? I really liked this story. The characters were the kind of people that you would like to meet. Kate's mother was also a great character. I give this book a 5/5. I was given this book for a review and all opinions are mine.
