Blind Trust by Sandra Orchard Book Tour and Book Review

About

Kate's not sure how deep this deception goes--but she'll do whatever it takes to find out.
Kate Adams had no idea she was carrying counterfeit money and can't believe that it came from her sweet elderly neighbor. Or that it has landed her in the middle of another of Detective Tom Parker's investigations. Determined to prove her neighbor's innocence, Kate stumbles into a pit of intrigue far deeper than a two-bit counterfeit operation--and one that strikes too close to home for comfort.

As family secrets come to light, her world--and her budding romance with Tom--begin to crumble. To Kate, it's clear that she won't be safe until she uncovers all of Port Aster's secrets. But then will it be too late for her and Tom?

Reviews

"This sequel picks up where the last book left off, so it's helpful if readers are familiar with the plot of Orchard's Deadly Devotion. The main characters' relationship develops nicely. More secrets are revealed and a mystery is solved, but there are still many questions the reader will be eager to have answered in (hopefully) the next book."

My review;
 This is the second in the new series by Sandra Orchard.  This time we find  Kate, and  she is not having a good day. First she goes to the store to get groceries for her elderly neighbor and she is caught trying to pass her neighbor's counterfeit money. Detective Tom Parker comes and lets her go, because he believes that she really did not know about the money.  Kate wants to show that her neighbor is not guilty so she starts to investigate what is really going on with her neighbor . As she gets deeper and deeper into the case she is hit with more suspense and secrets and cover ups. Just as she and Tom start to have feelings for each other she is hit with another dangerous secret. This book has it all suspense, romance, twists,  and a little bit of fear. I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book by Revell Publishing and all opinions are my own.
