I spray my pillow with a natural lavender spray that I found in some catalogue (what will I do when it runs out? I'd better figure out how to make it.), I read, then i snuggle with my husband and if it's not to late I wake him and ask him to recount his day to me. I have terrible insomnia and I need to do several things to distract my mind from all the things I worry about.

I usally read and listen to music.
ReplyDeleteGenerally I sleep with some background noise, the TV on sirius radio channels (yep, I actually use the music channels!). That helps me to relax and fall asleep.

I relax sometimes with a cup of tea or just vegging out in front of the tv with the dogs for half hour or so.
