My review:  Sweet Sanctuary is like candy for the reader who loves to read about other people helping others, even when they also need help of their own.  I  have read a lot of Kim Vogel Sawyer's books and I have loved every single one of them. Sweet Sanctuary is her newest book and it is one of the best that I have read. The way that she writes about and describes each character you feel as if you know all of them.  This is very important in a story because you come to understand why a character acts the way that they do. Lydia Eldredge is the single mother of a young boy who she has named Nicky. She is a very doting  mother and caring person. But, the year is 1944 and it is very much different now, then it was in 1944, for single mothers.  Nicky's father, Nicolai Pankin, is a man who wants to see his son, but he is addicted to drugs and the kind of person that you seem to dislike from the beginning. Dr. Micah Hatcher is a man who uses his talents as a doctor to take care of the immigrants in Queens, New York.  Micah also likes Lydia and wants to help her and Nicky. They are both doing all that they can to serve and help the poor who God seems to send them all the while keeping Nicky safe. The question is one of  hope for the future ,serving others and love, can they prevail with so many  problems facing them? I give this book a 5/5 I really loved it. I was given this book by Litfuse Publicity Group for a honest review. All my opinions are 100% my own. http://litfusegroup.com/author/KSawyer

When I found out that I had been selected to host a FAST METABOLISM DIET "MAKE AND TAKE" MOMMY PARTY , SPONSORED BY RANDOM HOUSE, I was so excited I started to plan it before I even got the goodies in the mail. I started by reading anything that I could find on Haylie Pomroy!  I was so impressed that I found myself watching the mail everyday. When it came I could not believe how generous they were !

A brand new MYTIME DIGITAL SLOW COOKER CROCK POT with recipes!

There were books to give to my friends and relatives so that we could do this together, samples and coupons for Celestial Teas, Artisana 100% organic Raw Cashew Butter, coupons for Applegate Meats, (which we buy all the time and love) and fantastic recipes to try! There was a $20.00 gift card from Target.
We were amazed to see all of the different foods that we were able to eat on this diet. The author begins by explaining  what your metabolism is and what it does in your body. Michal's Window A Novel: King David's First Wife by Rachelle Ayala Book Review

Michal's Window by Rachelle Ayala tells the story of Michal, King David's first wife in a beautiful touching way. Michal, who is the daughter of King Saul meets a poor boy named David when he comes to help her father. She immediately falls in love with David as does David fall in love with her. David kills Goliath and they marry. This is not the end of their problems but the beginning. King Saul is jealous so he tries to kill David. Michal helps him escape even though she could be killed for helping him. We follow and learn about Michal trying to be reunited with David. David eventually becomes King David. Mical had a very hard life. I suggest that you get a box of tissues before you start to read her story. It is a story of love and hate and of a woman who has her life take terrible turns. I really liked the book and had a wonderful time reading about the history of the era. I had trouble putting it down because I became very interested in Michal's sad life. I would refer the book to anyone who loves history of the Bible. Even though some liberties were taken it was well written. I was given this book by Tomoson and the author for a review. All opinions are 100% my own.I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

A Sealed Fate by Lisa Gordon A Book Review

A Sealed Fate by Lisa Gordon is a story about two women who are testing their fate and the rest of their life. Larissa is an astrologer who tells Valda that a Sheikh and her destinies were sealed together from the day that they first met. Valda then asks Larissa  for help and they work together, even though Larissa has not told Valda all that she really saw in the charts.  Their question was can you change fate and your destiny?
The story takes place in beautiful Dubai and you can almost think and feel that you are there. This is a thriller that is fast and a quick story. I was not able to put it down until I was finished.  I was totally surprised by the ending, but I think that I understood it. I was given this book by the author but all opinions are 100% my own.

Finding God in the Dark by Ted Kluck & Ronnie Martin Book Review

Finding God in the Dark, Faith, Disappointment, and The Struggle to Believe by Ted Kluck & Ronnie Martin was written by two  authors. It is hard to imagine how anyone could deal with the heartaches as these two men have and still have faith. Ted Kluck has had to deal with the tragedy of a failed adoption, while Ronnie Martin has to deal with the loss of his father, and they share these struggles with us, the reader. What I realized from this book about their real experiences is that they want to show us that when He is needed God will show us that He is always with there. It is sometimes true that when someone suffers something so unimaginable that they believe that they are alone. These two authors have tried to share that you are never alone, and you might be able to learn from their mistakes and their struggles. I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book by Bethany House for the purpose of a review and all opinions are 100% my own.

My review;    If you are going to read this book you better get some tissues.
I was glued to this book until I read all of the stories. This would be a great book to read with your older children or grandchildren, it might be scary for some younger children. It is a great learning tool for older children though, to read about other children and their struggles. We sometimes take our daily life for granted and it is good for all of us to  reflect on these stories. This book is part of the Storyweaver Series. I would  give the is a 5/5.  I was given this book by Litfuse for the purpose of a review but, all opinions are 100% my own.
