Joint Support For Small Dogs Review

Our family loves Shih Tzu"s. These are small dogs. When I was given the opportunity to review this I jumped at the chance. Our dogs are getting older and when small dogs get older they get arthritis which is very painful. For the first 6 weeks you use a larger dose and then lower the dose.     The highest ingredient is Glucosamine. This worked really great the dogs loved it because they were soft and easy to chew.
This is Beau he has been taking this for a few weeks and it has been working well. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

My review;
Unexpecting by Lori Verni-Fogarsi lives up to it's title. Just when Shelly and David think it's okay to order white furniture and go on a wonderful vacation, a seventeen year old girl named Alexandra shows up at their door and tells them that she is their daughter. Shelley alone when she answers the door, starts to doubt her marriage and her husband. Then Alexandra explains that she is David's daughter and her mother never told him about her. Now what are they going to do?
Although this book is fiction it could very well be real. Scenes like this are happening everyday. Almost everyone you know has a older child living with them. LoriVerni-Fogarsi tells this story with love and humor mixed in. She brings you on a rollercoaster ride filled with almost daily trials and decisions that have to be made.  Whenever any decision is made Shelly and David must make it together do what is best for their WHOLE family.
I loved this book from the first page to the last. I found myself laughing, crying and trying to think about what I would do in their place. Thank you Lori for writing a book that shows other parents in Shelly and David's place, that this is more common than they think. I give this book a 5/5 but I wish I could give it more.

A Noble Groom by Jody Hedlund A Book Review

    About A Noble Groom
    Michigan, 1880
Annalisa Werner's hope for a fairy tale love is over. Her husband failed her in every way and now his death has left her with few options to save the family farm. She needs a plentiful harvest. That, and a husband to help bring it in. Someone strong, dependable. That'll be enough. A marriage for love...that's something she's given up on.
So her father sends a letter to his brother in the Old Country, asking him to find Annalisa a groom.
Then a man appears: Carl Richards, from their home country of Germany and a former schoolteacher---or so he says. He's looking for work and will serve on the farm until her husband arrives.
With time running out, she accepts his help, but there's more to this man than he's admitting. He's also gentle, kind, charming---unlike any man she's ever known. But even as Carl is shining light into the darkness of her heart, she knows her true groom may arrive any day.

My Review:  What kind of woman can run a farm on her own, and raise a child at the same time? She must be a very strong and courageous one. What does a woman do when her husband leaves her with a family farm that she is about to lose. Annalisa Werner's husband was not a good husband but, that is not her problem now. Her father means well and tries to help by getting her a new husband.   Annalisa needs to bring in a good harvest so that she doesn't lose the farm, and she cannot do it alone.  The problem is that a man named Carl Richards has shown up, needs a job, and is the kind of man that Annalisa never knew existed. He begins to help her on the farm and although she is supposed to be waiting for her new groom she is finding that she really does not want to stop seeing Carl help her. I was very hooked by this book and I was rooting for the Annalisa and Carl  who seemed real to me, The author has portrayed them well.  I give this book a 5/5. I really recommend this book. I was given this book by Litfuse Publishing Group for the purpose of a review but all opinions are my own.

Swept Away Trouble in Texas Book 1 by Mary Connealy A book Review

I have one question to ask. Have I ever told you how much I love cowboys, wagon trains etc?  Ruthy
MacNeil finds herself alone after being torn away while she was trying to cross a river with a family that has brought her up. Losing this family is no great loss to Ruthy, the only thing that they wanted her for was to do all of the work. She has been saved by a cowboy named Luke Stone. Luke Stone has problems of his own he has to deal with,  he is here to get the family farm back that has been taken away from him. He decides that because Ruthy doesn't have anywhere to go, he will take her to the farm when he tries to get it back.
When they both arrive they find that they will have to fight the men who are there if they want to take the land back. Luke will have to wait for his friends that are on their way to help him do that. Ruthy has decided that she will show Luke how to forget about the revenge he wants. Luke thinks more and more everyday about Ruthy. Will Ruthy be able to get Luke to think about love?
I really liked this book and I give it a 5/5. I really fell in love with these characters. I was given this book by Bethany House for the purpose of a review and all opinions are 100% my own.

    Description
Winter is not exactly the ‘season of the witch’. It’s cold in Washington, and everything is covered in snow. But it doesn’t bother Lucilla Sinclair, the fiery Witch-Warden for Washington State. She’s perfectly happy performing minor enchantments at her little arcane shop in Redhaven, an old fishing town turned tourist attraction. Besides, her tall, dark-skinned elemental guardian Mishal keeps her warm at night. Her raven familiar, Irwin, helps her to pass the time in the otherwise sleepy town.
Magickal mischief in the cold, quiet state is slow for the most part, but when a freak winter storm lands a half-transformed Siren on her front porch, Lucy’s life becomes increasingly strange. Her dreams are suddenly assaulted with visions of a beautiful demon man, and her waking hours are spent warding off a cadre of mysterious shadow creatures.

With the life of the Siren in her hands, Lucy must trek through the snows of Canada in a race against time. Her mission: to find the one person with enough knowledge of forbidden black magick to fix the broken Siren Melusine before her seven days on land are up.
This is gonna be a rough week.

    Reviews
“Siren Snow is the story of Lucy Sinclair, the young Witch-Warden for Washington State. She spends most of her days working in her shop and taking care of the routine magical needs of the folks under her care. Until a strange storm brings more than just a blizzard. A sea creature from the depths of the sea is just the beginning of Lucy’s troubles. When an injured siren washes up on shore, Lucy must embark upon a dangerous journey to save her.
This story is a fantastical adventure featuring mythical and magical beings, both traditional and those created by the author’s rich imagination. The characters are well drawn and engaging, and you’ll fall in love with the varied cast. From Mishal, Lucy’s hot elemental guardian (and I do mean hot!) to Mel, the stoic Siren, the author introduces the reader to characters we’ll sorely miss once we finish that last page.
Siren Snow is not without romance, though Lucy’s love life does take back seat to her heroic endeavors. Mishal, her best friend and protector, sticks by Lucy’s side, providing unwavering support. There are a few tender moments between them, but Lucy is holding back. She has a secret that involves a demon from her dreams. Twists, turns, and surprises await Lucy on her journey and the ending will leave you breathless.I’m waiting anxiously for the next book in the series and once you read it, you will too. I highly recommend this book.”--Tricia Drammeh, author of The Claiming Words
“I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It really drew me in even in the first chapter. I couldn't help but read the entire thing in just two days!
The characters are very likeable. I already feel that I know them well, despite this being the author's first book. It's so easy to share Lucilla's triumphs, and to feel empathy for her shortcomings.
The unexpected adventure certainly kept me interested, and the surprises were enough to keep me on my toes. I don't want to say too much, but I found the motel scene to be particularly haunting, in a very good way!
The story is very well-told. A few loose ends are left untied - intentionally, I am sure - to set the stage for later entries in the saga. However, the focus of this particular book is fully realized, in a singularly satisfying manner.
I am eagerly awaiting the next installment of this series; it's really got me hooked! All in all, I would love to schedule a trip to Redhaven myself in order to meet Lucilla Sinclair and her companions!”--Phillip Anderson, Goodreads Reviewer
“Truly an amazing book. Victoria has definitely set the bar high for up and coming indie authors. Her attention to detail is not over looked as well as her genuine care and concern for her characters. I would recommend this book to any one who asks. The story line is so nicely done that you are drawn in from page one. This is a MUST READ.”--Maegan Provan, Author

    Excerpt #2 (from Chapter 18)
His gold-moon eyes rolled up to look at me, and it wasn't quite as predatory as it had been, though it still made me uncomfortable. It was the kind of look you give someone when what is at your mouth is very much not a bloody hand. It was the kind of look that made my pale cheeks flush pink. He grinned around the edges, and his black snake tongue eased past his lips. He licked the blood off my hand, my own blood, and shivered. He fed on my hand like a butterfly at a flower, with quick, short licks, and very much like a butterfly, his wings fanned in smooth, slow motions. Well, you know... if butterflies came from hell, anyway.
The more blood he licked off my hand, the more it seemed to agitate him, rile him up, until finally he pulled my hand away from his mouth, his eyes wide and wild and hungry. Dizziness returned then, and I swayed slightly in the snow, trying to focus on his wild, moon-bright eyes. Before I could process what was happening, his face shot forward and captured my lips with his.
His mouth was warm, and soft, save for the press of sharp teeth just past those sweet lips. He kissed me hard, and I tasted my own blood in his mouth. That strange, alien snake tongue licked at my lips, and I had just started to consider it, when I staggered and nearly fainted from the suddenly intense, burning pain in my shoulder. As he'd kissed me, his hand had moved to my shoulder, and during my distraction, he had popped it back into its socket. I cried my pain into his mouth, and this brought him closer. He stepped one leg over me, straddling me in the snow so that only the fine, soft fabric of his long, decorated loin cloth brushed against my legs.

Because love can happen anywhere . . .
    Even in New Jersey!
A beautiful morning in early spring. What could possibly go wrong?
Just returned from a buying trip in England, Kate French was jet-lagged and exhausted and running on fumes. She was already running late for an appointment but a wave of dizziness forced her to pull into the shopping mall parking lot in search of a quick fix of caffeine and protein.
When the pain first hit, she ignored it and continued racing across the parking lot toward the food court. But within moments she realized something was terribly wrong as her wobbly legs gave out and she dropped to the ground. The last thing she remembered as she started to fade away was the guy in the Grateful Dead T-shirt who held her in his arms and promised he'd never let her go.
Mark Kerry didn't think of himself as a hero but the story of a Good Samaritan who had saved a woman's life in the parking lot of the Princeton Promenade was attaining the status of suburban legend. Determined to return a stack of documents

That had been left behind when the ambulance swept her away, he called in some favors and tracked her down at home one week later.
The moment Kate saw him again, the world and everyone in it disappeared. She knew his voice, the smell of his skin, the way his hands felt against her skin, the taste of his mouth, everything that mattered. All the things she would ever need to know about him.
And then she took another look . . .

Helga Out of the Hedgelands by Rick Johnson Book Blast and Giveaway

Helga: Out of the Hedgelands Twelve-year-old Helga has more danger in her life than most beasts her age—Wrackshee slavers after her, a vicious attack by bandits that nearly kills her, a race against dragons pursuing her, and leading a daring rebellion to save her life and rescue friends and family from the insidious WooZan. And that is just the beginning. But what do you expect when you are a young beast who just can’t see the stupid rules of the world making any sense? Helga can’t accept things as they are and ends up taking on not just one, but two all-powerful, supreme tyrants in two different realms. Helga never intended to lead a revolution. It just sort of happened because she wouldn’t go along with the “rules of normal” that keep tyrants in power and entire societies enslaved. Beginning on a dangerous quest to solve some mysteries in her own past, Helga leads her quirky comrades on a journey that will not only forever change them, but upset ancient civilizations. As an author, I’m drawn to eccentric, unexpected characters: those who surprise because they hear a distant galaxy, see a different music, create their own fragrance rather than get hooked on a soundtrack; the child who has her own ideas about how the emperor is dressed; the lunatics and rebels who tell stories on the boundaries. Helga’s unusual story will take readers to worlds they never imagined—definitely a whole new ride. Time and again, the unconventional heroine and her eccentric comrades overcome ominous tyrants and black-hearted slavers, not by battling to the last beast standing, but by being the first beast to think differently. Helga: Out of Hedgelands is divided into three books which introduce the epic saga of the Wood Cow clan and their role in overturning centuries of slavery and tyranny. This story will continue in additional volumes of the Wood Cow Chronicles now in development. Over the series of current and future volumes, the entire history of the Wood Cow clan, the fall of Maev Astuté, and the coming of Lord Farseeker to the Outer Rings, will be told.
    Book Trailer
Author Rick Johnson I am a native of the Great Plains, having grown up on a farm in the Platte River Valley of western Nebraska. I love the wild beauty of the Plains and nearby Rocky Mountains--the too hot, too cold, too empty, too full of life extremes. Typically, the awesomely diverse and the awesomely stark are much the same, even as they are different. Although I have lived in Michigan, North Carolina, and British Columbia, the western plains, mountains, and desert are in my heart. As my day job, for over thirty years I have been a faculty member and administrator in higher education. Teaching broadly in the liberal arts, including creative writing, my professional publications include educational materials, poems, and 28 stories for young readers. During my spare hours, I have also collected and carefully studied the records of former times upon which the Wood Cow Chronicles are based. It is my privilege to bring this astonishing saga to light. The Wood Cow Chronicles have been researched and written with the irreplaceable assistance of Barbara, my beloved wife of more than thirty-five years, and our children. Indeed, the essential research into the history of the Wood Cows has been conducted during the odd hours of family reading and storytelling "around the campfire" as we say--even when there is no campfire! This research continues and grows richer as our family expands across generations and continents.
