Reviews
Vivid imagery captures the reader's attention as Lewis masterfully tugs at their heart-strings.
RT Book Reviews
Lewis latest is a thoughtful tale filled with pastoral imagery, dramatic irony, and gentle
foreshadowing that teases the story forward.

My review;
I just finished reading The Last Bride by Beverly Lewis and I really overall liked the book. This is part of the Home to Hickory Hollow Series.
Tessie Ann is the last of her sisters to get married and things don't happen the way that her life had been planned. She meets and falls in love with Amishman Marcus King against her father. After they secretly elope they are hit by an unimaginable tragedy. Tessie Ann must make some strong decisions and needs to rely on her strong faith to get her through. The characters are well explained and the story is about family, loyalty and forgiveness. I give the book a 4/5 . I was given this book by Bethany House Publishers for the purpose of a review and all opinions are my own.
