ReplyDeleteWe have an outdoor fire pit party and everyone brings a specialty pot of soup or stew. And we have lots of homemade breads and salads to go with it. Nothing beats the cold except a hot bowl of soup and warm bread. I like to make my Seafood Corn Chowder and my special Potato Soup.

October here in SW FL is really just a tad bit cooler (less humidity) than September. We try to get in the Fall spirit by decorating both inside & outside the house but with the temps still in the upper it's hard. We just don't have much of a Fall season here but that's okay with me!

October is harvest time. Baking with apples mostly this year. Lots of raspberries too.

We get a couple of pumpkins and carve them and hit up the local Apple Festival!
