    Close all the blinds, draw the curtains, turn on the fans and take lots of cool showers, when at home. Otherwise we are at the lake or tubing down the chattahoochee river.

    If I get too hot I like to take a cool shower. I will also sit out on the front porch with my feet in a bucket of cold water while the grandkids are playing outside, lol

    Keep the house nice and dark, and read in the a/c, stock up on popsicles and ice cream & going swimming and kayaking.

    I use an evaporative cooler in the early mornings and A/C later in the day. Plus ceiling fans.

    Since my A/C died last year, I haven't had the money to replace it. So...I drink cold water or tea, and sit in front of the fan with a mister.
