NEW RELEASE....
When flamboyant senior sleuth Sadie Kramer learns the owner of Cioccolato, her favorite chocolate shop, is in trouble, she heads for the California wine country with a tote-bagged Yorkie and a slew of questions. The fourth generation Tremiato Winery promises answers, but not before a dead body turns up at the vintners’ scheduled Harvest Festival.
All four Tremiato siblings have possible motives, as well as a few peripheral acquaintances, but only one could be the guilty party. As Sadie juggles truffles, tips and turmoil, she’ll need to sort the grapes from the wrath in order to find the identity of the killer.

My review;
Sadie Kramer is a senior who loves to solve mysteries. She decides to head to the California wine country when the person who is the owner of her favorite chocolate store has a problem. Matteo comes from a family that owns Tremiato Winery. Sadie thinks that she may be on the right track to maybe figure out the problem when a body is found. The problem is that there is more than one suspect. Who is the murderer? Could it be one of the Tremiato winery family members? It could have been anyone. Sadie decides that she has to find the murderer. It is not going to easy but, Sadie keeps trying. I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book for a review and these are my opinions.
Sounds like a book my hubbie would enjoy he's always watching things like Miss Marple and Murder She Wrote.
ReplyDeleteI love white wines the most, but I also occasionally drink red and rose wines. It often depends on the event, who I'm with, and what I'm eating. I enjoy eating popcorn with my wine, laying under a soft blanket on the couch, and watching Scandal lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't drink alcohol.
ReplyDeleteHi Sara,I don't drink alcohol either, which is part of the reason this book has very few mentions of drinking, even though set in Napa Valley. The mystery itself also has nothing to do with drinking. On the other hand, there just might be one excessive item in this story: chocolate ;)
DeleteThank you so much for the lovely review. I'm so glad you enjoyed Sadie's first Flair Mystery!
ReplyDeleteIf I drank wine, my favorite snack with it would be cheese. I'll just have the cheese and some sparkling water. :=)
ReplyDeleteDeborah
Sorry I don't drink. If I did I would probably eat peanuts as a snack.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it would be a great read.
