Emily Carver has nothing to speak of. She is with her very ill mother and her father at a gold mining camp and her father is always hoping he will be rich one day . She has started to believe that she will be stuck here forever. A young man who is a geologist has come to the mountain to see what he can find. He notices Emily and he is never the same. Will Emily have to stay there forever with her parents? Will they ever find gold ? I really love the novels that author Tracie Peterson has written and this is one of my favorites. I give this book a 5/5. I was given this book by Bethany House Publishers and these are my opinions.
