  5. I loved Second Ending by James White. It was the first post-apocalyptic novel I read. It was my dad's and I read it when I was 14 or 15.

  6. Blood Red Road by Moira Young! And the world isnt ending the Mayan calendar is circluar; therefore the circle is starting over (think of a clock striking midnight) its awesome bc instead of 24 hours like a clock its a 50 year long calendar. :) So ya, no end of the world...................as an anthropology major this is getting really annoying.

  7. I loved Courtney Summer's This is Not a Test. It's not your average zombie book.

  10. My all time favorite end of world/disaster book is The Stand. They made it into a movie, but it does not do the book justice.
