Where to Purchase

About

What happens when your heart is intercepted before you even know it's in play?
The folks in Last Chance, New Mexico, could not be more pleased. Dr. Jessica MacLeod has opened an office right on Main Street and Andy Ryan, the best athlete the little town ever produced, has come home from the NFL to coach the high school football team. Unfortunately, Dr. Jess immediately gets off on the wrong foot with this football-obsessed town when she admits that she's never seen a football game, isn't really interested in doing so, and in fact doesn't know a first down from a goalpost.

Despite having little in common, Jess and Andy find themselves drawn to each other. But when a disagreement over the future of an injured player puts them both on the defensive, it begins to look like this game is over . . .

My review;

"Last Chance Hero" by Cathleen Armstrong is a great story about 2 people who find each other and just as quickly may lose each other over a football game. Last Chance, Mexico is full of people who love football. Dr. Jessica MacLeod has opened up her practice here, but what will they do when they find out she has never even seen a game? Andy Ryan has decided to come back to the town and coach the high school football team. He just happens to be a famous football player here. What is going to happen when they start to think that they like each other but cannot agree on anything football? Will they be able to compromise? Is there any chance that they may have any kind of future. I give this book a 4/5. I was give this book for the purpose of a  review and all opinions a re mine.

"The Mistress of Tall Acre" by Laura Frantz is an interesting story. Sophie Menzies is very happy that the American Revolution has finally ended. They both that it would be a good idea that they get married and take care of his young child. All will not go as planned though. Will they really fall in love and have a future or will they be torn apart by another?  I had read other books by author Laura Frantz and I really enjoy her writing. I give this book a 5/5. My review;
I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to review these books by these fantastic authors. I read them all and then I read them over again to make sure I didn't miss any part of the stories. 19 stories that will make anyone that reads these ready for Christmas. I probably will read them again before Christmas. They were so uplifting and made me happy for the characters. I have already read some of these author's books and believe me I will be looking for more books by the rest of the authors that I really liked. Each of the storylines were different and they were all great. I give this book a 5. I was given this book for a review and all opinions a re mine.

About the Author

I can’t write without a hoodie. Yeah, I live it Texas. We all have our quirks.

I majored in accounting in college. I was required to declare a major, but I had no clue what I wanted to do, so I picked accounting because it was the first thing listed in the booklet the counselor gave me. Surprisingly, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Go figure.

Forget coffee. Hand over the Red Bull or Monster Khaos and no one gets hurt. Seriously, just set it down and step away. I will turn into a normal human after I guzzle my can of caffeine.

I hate to cook, but love to watch cooking shows on television.

I paint my nails weird colors just to see my husband roll his eyes and make my 9 year-old twin girls giggle. Oh, and mortify my 13 year-old son.

I’m a hopeful romantic and love swoon-worthy endings that keep the butterflies going for days, but I don’t believe a HEA always ends with the boy getting the girl. Sometimes a HEA is an ending we don’t see coming, but is still best for the characters.

I write across genres in the young adult and new adult age groups while eating way too many peanut butter M&Ms (but we’ll keep that second part just between us).

I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, but now live in a suburb of Houston, TX with my very supportive family, a 125lb rescue “puppy” and a 12lb attack cat, also a rescue animal.

And last, (but certainly not least), I love my family with everything in me. Everything I am, is theirs. There are no words in any language known to man to describe my love for them. They are my center.

I’d love to hear from you. So drop me an email! Let’s chat. You tell me what you like in books, what you’d like to see happen in the writing community, what type of books you like to see more of…less of—I want to hear it all! So tell me, please. Because the one thing I wish I could put on my list, but I still haven’t figured out how to do, is mind-reading. But don’t tell my kids. I still have them fooled. :)
