Michael Keane's stressful days as a Columbus police officer are done. He's ready to relax into his new position as deputy sheriff in his sleepy hometown. Nothing ever happens in Hidden Springs, Kentucky--and that's just fine with Michael.

Nothing, that is, until a dead body is discovered on the courthouse steps. As Michael works to solve the case, it seems that every nosy resident in town has a theory. When the sheriff insists Michael check out one of these harebrained theories, his surprising discovery sends him on a bewildering search for a mysterious killer that has him questioning everything he has ever believed about life in Hidden Springs.

Bringing with her a knack for creating settings you want to visit and an uncanny ability to bring characters to life, A. H. Gabhart pens a whodunit that will keep you guessing.

A. H. Gabhart is Ann H. "The people of Hidden Springs are warm and caring, if a little gossipy, but secrets lurk beneath that friendly surface--dangerous secrets that turn deadly when a body shows up on the courthouse steps. This intriguing new mystery had me reading late into the night."

My review;

"Murder at the Courthouse" by author A. H. Gabhart is part of a series called A Hidden Springs Mystery. Michael Keane used to be a Columbus cop/ He has just started a new job as a deputy sheriff in the town where he used to live. Hidden Springs is a very nice town and that is what Michael wants to do, very little. Then on the steps of the courthouse a body is found. Everyone wants to put in their ideas about what happened even if Michael doesn't ask for them. The sheriff makes him follow leads even if they are ridiculous. Then Michael is surprised when he learns something about Hidden Springs that he never knew before. He has to look everywhere until he finds the murderer. I give this booka 5/5. I was given this book by Revell Publishing Company and all opinions are mine.
