Daniel's Crazy Chocco Party by Lisabeth Protherough Book Review
Daniel is a little boy about to have his 6th birthday party. He has no idea that this party will be more fun than he could possibly have imagined. Join in the fun with him, share his love of chocolate and experience his chocolaty adventure.
This lovingly crafted young children's picture book, with its slight anarchic twist, is sure to be a hit with chocolate lovers of ALL ages. In fact, it could well be the most exciting children's book about chocolate since Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Get set for this to be on the gift wish list of all 4-8 year olds, and maybe some of their parents too.
It is not available as an e-book, as it is felt that this would detract from its quality and its charm for young children. The book is about chocolate and a child's sensory experience of it, and the author feels that a physical book rather than an e-book is the best medium for this.
As a side note, the author based this story on her own autistic son, who used to have huge sensory issues with eating his food, until he was advised to start to playing with it. :-)
My review;
I just loved this book and so did my grandchildren. It was so cute and the illustrations are adorable. I believe that everyone will love this book and will love to share it, especially people who love chocolate and those who love to see children's faces with chocolate all over them. I give this book a 5/5.
