My Review;

I just finished reading Shadows of Grace by  Cara C. Putman a story that is written during World War II. Rachel is an American woman whose job as a photographer brings her to the front lines. Rachel is secretly going on this assignment to find her father so that he can help her and her mother live through this time of horror. The Monuments Men are desperately trying to hide  monuments and other important pieces from the enemy.

I love to read stories that are historical fiction with suspense and romance, that will keep you from trying to put this book down until you finish reading it. The characters are so wonderful that you cannot help but fall in love with them and hope that all turns out right for them. Rachel must rely on her faith to help her find her father. How does Rachel fit in with this desperate effort to save irreplaceable items? What will she find when she gets there and gets to work? I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book by Litfuse Publicity Group and all opinions are my own.
