Melanie Ross has inherited an Arizona mercantile from her cousin, as it so happens right about the same time she has been fired from her job as a governess. Realizing that she has no other choice she decides that she must learn how to run the mercantile that she has just inherited. Caleb Nelson has decided that he has inherited the mercantile and he is not going to let anyone, least of all a woman with her own ideas take everything away from him.
He enlists some of the single men in town to try to help him get Melanie married and out of his way. Caleb has no idea that the more he is around Melanie the more he wants to be with her . Now he has a bigger problem, he does not want her to get married to one of these men, instead he has come to realize that some of her ideas might be good after all and he likes being around her.
While Caleb and Melanie are  being attracted more and more to each  other everyday, there is someone determined to destroy their store and it's future. The question is, how will Caleb and Melanie save their business as well as their new romance?
Caleb and Melanie must rely on God's help and their faith to show them what their future will be and how they will succeed in getting there.

My review,

The author has given us two very likable characters that we start to feel as if we indeed do know them and we cannot wait to see if they get the love and the life that they both deserve. This story has it all, love and romance , a mystery to solve and relying on your faith to show you the right direction that you should take.  I enjoyed this book from the very first page. I can just imagine children who are not happy with a governess doing all they can to get rid of her. I was given this book by Bethany House for the purpose of a review and all opinions are my own.
