Threads of Grace by Kelly Long Book Review

Threads of Grace is a book which takes the reader through a woman's life who is afraid to allow any man to ever again get close to her. It is a novel of a woman who is dealing alone with her son who has Autism. She is giving all of her love to him. As a young girl she was forced to marry a much older man because her family was about to lose their farm. When her husband passes away she cannot wait to leave her past behind her, so she moves to Pine Creek, Pennsylvania hoping to start over. Almost as soon as she arrives Seth Wyse the most eligible bachelor in town, has noticed her.
Seth loses no time telling Grace how he feels for her and her son. Grace is unable to allow anyone to get close to her heart ever again.   When things are starting to settle down her late husband's brother shows up to tell her that if she is not married he will inherit everything.
Seth has decided that they will get married and he will help her and her son. Grace is afraid to trust her new husband with her heart and Seth starts thinking that maybe this was a bad idea. They soon realize that God has been working on their hearts all along. I really enjoyed this book. It was refreshing to see a single mother raise her disabled child by herself.  It also was heartwarming to see a woman learn how to trust and love again. I was given this book by Booksneeze for purpose of a review. All opinions are my own.
